Ein stundenlanger, verwundener Tarkowski-Film? Ein Schwarzwei\u00df-WimWenders von fr\u00fcher? &#8222;Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod&#8220;?<br \/>\nEs war dann &#8222;Heat&#8220; von Michael Mann. Irgendwie hatte ich diesen Film vor 11 Jahren verpa\u00dft. Kein Wunder, damals habe ich nur gearbeitet.<br \/>\nDer Film hatte alles, was ich liebe: viel Schwarz und Blau, gro\u00dfe Bilder, Action im richtigen Tempo (die moderne ist mir zu schnell), einen messerscharfen Plot, gute m\u00e4nnnliche Hauptfiguren (Hirn, Eier und ein paar Falten + eiserner Willen, gebrochen durch tragisch-extistenzialstischen Einschlag).<br \/>\nEine einfache Geschichte. Cop jagt Gangster. Und von Runde zu Runde wird die Jagd mehr zur pers\u00f6nlichen Konfrontation.<br \/>\nAber dann der Subplot. Zuerst habe ich jedesmal gezuckt. Was ist das? Das Nibelungenlied mit Marketenderinnen? Sie haben alle Frauen. Oder anders: sie haben alle Probleme mit Frauen. Der Obergangster verliebt sich grade. Der Chefcop wird von seiner Ehefrau wegen permanenter Nichtanwesenheit abserviert. Es geht um den Wunsch, zu jemandem zu geh\u00f6ren und den Drang, sich frei zu bewegen. Was den Frauen ja nicht schadet. Sie wollen Geld, Schmuck, Sicherheit, Kinder und einen Typen, auf den sie stolz sein k\u00f6nnen. (Keine Babes \u00fcbrigens, keine Hardbodies, sondern einfach nur Frauen.)<br \/>\nNat\u00fcrlich geht die Sache zwischen M\u00e4nnern und Frauen gnadenlos schief. Es gibt einen interessanten Drehpunkt, ungef\u00e4hr im letzten Viertel des Films. Die Geschichte k\u00f6nnte ohne weiteres auf andere Bahnen springen: der Chefcop k\u00f6nnte sich entscheiden, seine Ehe zu retten, statt zu einem n\u00e4chtlichen Einsatz zu fahren und der Obergangster k\u00f6nnte auf seinen letzten Coup verzichten und mit seiner neugefundenen Liebe gleich abhauen, denn Geld hat er genug. Das geht nat\u00fcrlich nicht, weils dann kein Kino mehr w\u00e4re und weil die beiden mittlerweile so ineinander verbissen sind, da\u00df die letzte Konfrontation eine Frage der Ehre ist.<br \/>\nDas Ergebnis? Leichen, Witwen, Waisen und mehrere Kandidaten f\u00fcr die Psychiatrie.
