\nF\u00fcr die, die es aushalten, dass ein 89j\u00e4hriger, halbseitig gel\u00e4hmter, halb blinder und sprachloser Mann seinen letzten Film an die Welt gegeben hat, ein schmerzhafter und sch\u00f6ner Abgesang. Ganz in der Art des Meisters, der uns mit seinem gnadenlosen Blick nie die Wahrheit erspart hat. Der uns unsere W\u00fcnsche und Sehns\u00fcchte zeigte und sie in die Welt hinausschickte, wo sie langsam in der Sonne bleichten und im Wind des Lebens zerfielen.
\nWas ist geblieben? Kaum noch Aufl\u00f6sung, eher lebende Bilder, eine sehr statische Kamera. Bilder in der Art des fr\u00fchen Picasso und Majoll (wird der so geschrieben?). Das Thema? Frauen. Nackt, mit Br\u00fcsten, Flanken und Schenkeln. Nicht jung, nicht sanft, nicht hingabevoll. Frauen in der Mitte des Lebens, fordernd, z\u00e4nkisch, l\u00fcstern. Der Mann ist nur Werkzeug. Christopher Buchholz ist anwesend bei der Auff\u00fchrung und erz\u00e4hlt vom Casting und den Dreharbeiten. Da\u00df Antonioni von ihm eine Erektion verlangt hat und \u201ereal hard work\u201c, um gleich darauf zu beruhigen: es sei nichts davon zu sehen. Er spielt nur das Instrument. Die Musik machen die Frauen.
\nDarauf also reduziert sich die Kunst eines alten Mannes, der dem Tod entgegengeht. Ein letzter Blick auf die Erotik und das, was einmal m\u00f6glich war.
\nEs w\u00e4re interessant, zu wissen, was dereinst eine Regisseurin als letzte Arbeit einer sehr sp\u00e4ten Phase pr\u00e4sentieren wird. Wird uns Kathryn Biegelow die Leben ihrer ungeborenen Kinder erz\u00e4hlen?
\nDie beiden anderen Filme, die dazu kamen, um den 20 Minuten dauernden Antonioni abendf\u00fcllend und marktf\u00e4hig zu machen tragen zwar gro\u00dfe Namen, sind aber nicht mehr als unterhaltsame, gut ausgestattete Finger\u00fcbungen. Stephen Soderbergs Equilibrium<\/b> ist eine kleine Kom\u00f6die im Stil der schwarzen Serie, die Robert Downey jr. einmal ganz anders zeigt. Wong Kar-Weis Manos<\/b> pr\u00e4sentiert Gong Li als grausame Kokotte und \u00fcbermittelt die wichtige Weisheit: Wenn du dir einen Mann h\u00f6rig machen willst, dann greife ihm zwischen die Schenkel, streichele seinen Hintern, um dann, ohne abzusetzen, die Hand an den Mittelpunkt des Verlangens zu lenken und die Arbeit zu vollenden.
